Qualifications and Required Experience:

Masters degree in school psychology (or equivalent), with at least two years of relevant experience or an internship Current state certification as a School Psychologist Strong interpersonal, assessment, and counseling skills Analytical mindset; adept with psychoeducational evaluations and test scoring Ability to observe, interpret, and communicate student needs effectively Proficient in using computers and technology to prepare reports and maintain records Exceptional written and verbal communication abilitiescomfortable addressing varied audiences in school settings Physically able to operate office equipment and occasionally lift up to 10 pounds

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough psychoeducational assessments to determine eligibility for special education services Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and facilitate mental health services Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and external agencies to support student well-being Participate actively in assessment teams, develop IEPs, and give recommendations to enhance student performance Maintain accurate documentation and prepare detailed psychological reports Stay current with best practices, legislative changes, and innovations within the field Lead and participate in professional development for staff and parents
