Category Schools - School Psychologist - Telehealth Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist specializing in telehealth services to support student mental health and learning needs in Mount Pleasant, SC. This role involves providing psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention recommendations through virtual platforms to enhance student well-being and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments and interpret results to inform individualized education plans (IEPs). Deliver telehealth counseling sessions addressing behavioral, emotional, and social challenges faced by students. Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop strategies that support students' academic and emotional development. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with confidentiality policies and regulatory requirements. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to contribute psychological expertise and support service planning.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience providing services via telehealth platforms with proficiency in remote assessment and counseling techniques. Strong understanding of educational laws, special education processes, and diversity-sensitive practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school personnel. Ability to manage caseload independently while adhering to deadlines and documentation standards.
