You'll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning, social-emotional development, and well-being.
Desired Background and Skills:
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology. Valid state credential/license as a School Psychologist. Experience in K-12 settings preferred. Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education processes. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Compassionate, collaborative, and adaptable approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations. Interpret assessment data and present meaningful findings to families and staff. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input for IEP and 504 plans. Support students through counseling, behavioral interventions, and crisis management. Offer consultation to teachers and parents regarding student needs and best practices. Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
