Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure as required by state law Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution Experience with psychological assessments, IEPs, and behavioral intervention planning Familiarity with special education law and best practices in school-based psychological services Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Prior experience working in a K-12 school environment preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education services Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs as a core team member Provide individual and group counseling to support students' academic and social-emotional growth Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop targeted intervention strategies Facilitate crisis intervention and prevention services as needed Maintain current, detailed records and comply with all federal, state, and district regulations
