Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students across all grade levels as a full-time School Psychologist in an onsite, district-wide role. This contract position offers the chance to work directly with K-12 students, staff, and families to help foster academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success. You'll collaborate with educators and support services to provide comprehensive psychological support where it's needed most.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Tennessee School Psychologist license required Prior experience in K-12 school settings highly preferred Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and development of intervention strategies Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and organizational abilities Comfortable serving multiple schools throughout the district

Role Responsibilities:

Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students ages K-12 Collaborate with educators and families to develop effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Support the implementation of evidence-based interventions and progress monitoring Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed Participate in eligibility and multidisciplinary team meetings Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote a positive learning environment Maintain necessary documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations Enjoy working in an engaged educational environment where your expertise is valued and your input shapes student outcomes.
