9683090-37072 Job Description A contract opportunity is now available for experienced School Psychologists to impact K-12 student success in a thriving Tennessee school community. This flexible position supports the well-being and development of students across multiple school sites, with start dates as soon as possible and the assignment extending through May 2027. Both on-site and VOCO (virtual) service options are available, allowing alignment with your preferred workstyle. The caseload will be divided between elementary and high school students, or focused on elementary, based on your preference.
Key Qualifications:
Active Tennessee School Psychologist license required Proven experience supporting K-12 populations in educational settings Adaptability to work in an itinerant role across multiple locations Ability to manage and organize dynamic caseloads Strong communication, assessment, and consultation skills Comfortable with technology for both on-site and VOCO assignments
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for K-12 students Develop and implement intervention strategies, including Response to Intervention (RTI) plans Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive academic and behavioral outcomes Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consulting services as appropriate Maintain accurate and timely student records and documentation Support special education eligibility processes and individualized education plan (IEP) development Deliver services at multiple school sites, with flexibility for a caseload split or elementary focus This contract offers exposure to varied educational environments and student populations. The work week is 37.5 hours. Both on-site and virtual options are available, accommodating your work preferences.
