Job Description
This position supports the function of the UT Psychological Clinic, and works closely with the Clinic Director, faculty, and students in day-to-day Clinic operations. This position provides customer service for the outside community seeking therapy and assessment and serves as a resource to the campus and community.
Required Qualifications Education :
High School diploma or
GED Experience :
1 -2 years of experience in an administrative/office position;
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Excellent administrative and organizational. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well with a diverse population of faculty, staff, students, and external constituencies. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and set priorities. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without need now or in the future for sponsorship for employment-based visa status.

Resume Cover Letter About The Department The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience is part of the College of Arts and Sciences, Division of Social Sciences. The Department has the largest undergraduate program, with two degree programs, a BA in Psychology and a BS in Neuroscience, and has the largest doctoral program at the University of Tennessee.
We have three graduate programs:
Experimental Psychology, with concentrations in Cognitive and Developmental Science, Social, and Neuroscience and Behavior, as well as two nationally accredited doctoral programs in Clinical Psychology and Counseling Psychology. The University of Tennessee Psychological Clinic is a multidisciplinary training site for the doctoral programs in Clinical and Counseling Psychology. At our Clinic, our doctoral students assess and treat children, adolescents, adults, and couples/families for a wide spectrum of behavioral and mental health conditions. Our Clinic strives to offer you quality mental health care in a confidential, comfortable environment.
Administrative Support:
Greet clients in the Psychology Clinic Respond to questions regarding Clinic services and inquiries for information Schedule clients using Titanium (TI) EMR (electronic medical records system) Create and maintain client wait-list, and collect client information for entry into TI Provide clerical support to Clinic Director, faculty, and students working in the Clinic Provide referrals for outside providers, when necessary
Financial :
Collect and provide documentation of payment for services provided. Provide clients with account information regarding balances or credits.
Other Duties:
Collaborate with Clinic Director, Clinic Coordinator and other Clinic staff members to adjust daily/weekly/monthly/yearly operations to serve clients and community. Draft, create and edit Clinic documents and forms.
