Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a real impact in the lives of students across K-12 schools as a School Psychologist in an engaging contract position located near White House, TN. This full-time, onsite opportunity involves serving a diverse district-wide caseload, providing vital psychological and educational support. Your expertise will support students' growth, help build stronger learning environments, and collaborate with educators and families to ensure every student has the resources they need to thrive. What you'll bring: Valid and current School Psychologist license in Tennessee Experience working with K-12 student populations Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education processes Excellent communication and teamwork skills Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and collaboration Ability to manage caseload and documentation efficiently Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred Key responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students across the district Develop, interpret, and communicate findings to multidisciplinary teams, parents, and educators Design and implement evidence-based interventions and behavior plans Consult with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to individualized student plans Maintain timely and accurate records in accordance with school and state guidelines Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and support as needed Full-time, onsite roles like this let you build meaningful relationships within a school community, all while developing professionally.
