Job Description
Are you dedicated to clinical excellence, passionate about client care, and have high attention to detail? If so, you may be an excellent addition to our dynamic team of professionals as our next psychologist. Responsibilities include conducting psychological examinations and testing, as well as diagnosing and recommending treatment for patients with adjustment disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, multi-trauma injury, chronic pain, brain injury, and other mental health issues. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills are necessary since you'll be working with an interdisciplinary team, case managers, and other treatment providers to coordinate and collaborate on care. Our ideal candidate holds a doctorate in psychology and has 1-3 years of professional experience under supervision. If this describes you, apply right away!
Compensation:
$110,000 - $140,000 yearlyResponsibilities:
Evaluate and analyze behavioral or emotional patterns that might help patients better understand and anticipate their own behavior Create and manage treatment plans and therapeutic procedures, as well as conduct frequent meetings or sessions to track client progress Write articles, research papers, and reports to share findings and educate others Offer patients referral services to outside therapists, clinics, and treatment facilities Diagnose problems by identifying psychological, emotional, behavioral, or organizational concerns Diagnostic interviewing, assessment planning, and providing feedback to clients and family members Supervision of psychometrists and doctoral/post-doctoral interns Diagnostic report writingQualifications:
Previous supervised experience of 1-3 years under a licensed psychologist is required This position requires passage of the EPPP (Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology) This position requires you to be currently licensed in the state you practice by the ASPPB (Association of State and Provincial Licensing Boards) We require a master's degree and a Doctorate of Psychology (PhD, EdD, PsyD) Successful candidates will need strong analytical, communication, and observational skills Must be licensed to practice psychology in the State of Texas Must have a PhD in Psychology or PsyD About Company ACTA provides mental health assessment and treatment services to children and adults by expert practitioners in a compassionate, comfortable, and serene environment.
