SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
The Educational Diagnostician provides comprehensive educational assessments to determine student eligibility for special education services and supports. This role collaborates with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that promote student academic achievement and success.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and comprehensive assessments to determine eligibility for special education services
  • Write clear, compliant evaluation reports and provide recommendations based on assessment results
  • Participate in ARD meetings as needed to review evaluation findings and support eligibility and educational programming decisions
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
  • Master's degree in Educational Assessment, Special Education, Psychology, or related field
  • Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician Certificate and Texas teaching certificate
  • Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience
