Qualifications and Skills:

Valid School Psychologist certification or license in Texas Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field Experience conducting cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments Strong knowledge of special education evaluation processes and IEP development Compassion, strong communication, and collaborative problem-solving skills Effective time management and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify students strengths and needs Develop and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings Provide individual and group counseling to students Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, administrators, and support staff Deliver crisis intervention and consult on behavioral management strategies Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with federal and state regulations
