Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist based in Denton, TX. This role is well-suited for professionals who bring expertise in psychological assessment, counseling, and collaboration within school settings to support student development and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs. Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to individual students. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student academic and emotional growth. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to developing appropriate educational plans. Maintain clear and timely documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards. Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed.
Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or related field. Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience working in K-12 educational settings. Strong knowledge of psychological testing instruments and data interpretation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with state and federal regulations affecting special education.
