Qualifications & Experience:
Active Texas license as a School Psychologist or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Experience supporting school-aged children and adolescents Strong understanding of developmental, emotional, and behavioral health in educational settings Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations and deliver reports tailored for educational planning Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and support for students Develop and implement intervention strategies addressing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and student plans Assist staff and families by sharing expertise on mental health and best practices for student success Maintain ethical, confidential documentation and stay current with state and educational guidelines Enjoy the flexibility and rewards of part-time work while making a real impact on student achievement and wellbeing.
