Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational setting as a dedicated school psychologist, providing essential support to students within a collaborative school environment. This full-time, onsite position is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on student success and well-being throughout the academic year. As a valued specialist at the high school level, you will work alongside educators and administrators to foster positive learning environments and address the unique academic, emotional, and social needs of students.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred Solid understanding of psychoeducational assessments and interventions Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and external agencies Adaptable and resourceful in a fast-paced, diverse high school environment
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations for referred students Develop and implement individualized education and intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student needs Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP processes Deliver counseling and crisis intervention as needed Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding mental health and behavioral issues Uphold confidentiality and ethical guidelines in all professional activities Enjoy the satisfaction of supporting students' growth while benefiting from a structured, contract-based position.
