Job Description

Step into a pivotal role supporting students across multiple elementary and middle schools as a dedicated provider of psychological services. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with expertise in school psychology who excel in dynamic, multi-campus environments. Over the course of an academic year, you will travel between five schools, primarily focusing on elementary-aged students while occasionally assisting middle schoolers. Your contributions will be essential in evaluation, intervention, and supporting students' well-being.

Key Qualifications:

Active License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist credential (issued by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists) Proven experience with AU (Autism), ED (Emotional Disturbance), and OHI (Other Health Impairment) assessments, including ADHD Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are highly preferred Prior school-based experience is a plus Able to work exclusively on-site (virtual/remote work is not available) Must fulfill fingerprint and credential verification requirements through TEA, which may require up to 10 business days

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and provide direct services across five assigned schools Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and design/implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Serve as an itinerant specialist, collaborating closely with campus teams, educators, and families Support evaluation, intervention, and consultation processes related to Autism, Emotional Disturbance, and ADHD Manage dynamic caseloads and adjust to the needs of each campus This contract appointment begins in August 2026 and runs through May 2027, offering full-time hours during the school week.
