The Role We are seeking an experienced School Psychologist to provide high-quality psychological services to students predominantly within our Senior School. Working collaboratively with staff, students, and families, you will offer guidance, support, and evidence-based interventions to promote student wellbeing and foster a safe, inclusive, and thriving learning environment. This is a fixed-term position for Term 4, 2026, providing coverage for a period of long service leave. The role is part-time, working two days per week. Thursdays are essential. You will have Current registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Highly developed counselling and psychological assessment skills Experience working as a psychologist with children and adolescents and parents/caregivers, ideally in a school setting from Kindergarten to Year 12 Sound knowledge of child and adolescent development, learning and mental health Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the School community and other support services Experience creating and presenting professional learning to a range of audiences A current Anaphylaxis Certificate, National Police Check (obtained within the last six months), and a Working with Children Check (Employee) or be willing to obtain prior to commencement Why Join St Michael's?
