Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing critical psychological services across a district setting. This district-wide assignment supports K-12 students across four buildings, giving you the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse and dynamic educational team. You'll engage in both assessment and intervention to foster students' academic, social, and emotional growth throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Vermont School Psychologist Certificate required Experience working with K-12 populations preferred Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and best practices Excellent communication and collaboration skills Prior school-based experience highly valued

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret assessment results Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' individual needs Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs and behavioral intervention plans Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention services as needed Support positive school culture and promote mental health awareness throughout the district

Additional Details:

Full-time contract: 35-37.5 hours per week Assignment dates: August 26th, 2026 to June 14th, 2027 Engage with multiple school communities within the district (K-12, four buildings) You'll find your skills valued and your contributions essential in this supportive and collaborative school environment.
