  • Clinical Psychologist - Naval Health Clinic Oak Harbor, WA

  • Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday, 0700-1630 (8.5-9 hour shifts, max 80 hours per two-week period)
  • Summary:
  • Provide psychological assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services to active-duty military personnel and other beneficiaries. Work within a multidisciplinary team to support mental health and wellness in a military clinical setting.

Education:
  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program; completion of APA-accredited internship. +
  • Licensure:
  • Current, unrestricted license in any U.S. state or territory. +
  • Certifications:
  • BLS required; ACLS preferred. +
  • Experience:
  • Sufficient to meet clinical competency requirements for credentialing.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • + Conduct psychological evaluations, testing, and interviews.
+ Diagnose per DSM-5 and provide individual and group therapy. + Support patients coping with illness, injury, or rehabilitation. + Maintain accurate documentation in systems such as AHLTA and MHS Genesis. + Participate in peer review, training, and performance improvement activities. + Adhere to ethical, legal, safety, and infection control standards. + Engage in continuing education and annual mandatory trainings. + Support Family Advocacy and other command programs as needed. Monday through Friday, between the hours of 0700 and 1630 hours. Shifts will normally be scheduled for an 8.5-to-9-hour period, to include an uncompensated 30 to 60 minute lunch break
