ALABAMA CANCER CARE

provides First Class cancer care close to Home This includes radiation therapy. We offer 3D, IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRS treatment with personal loving care.

Key Responsibilities/ Essential Functions:

Assisting physicians by delivering external beam irradiation and performing CT stimulation for treatment planning purposes Coordinates patient care with other members of the department to ensure quality and convenience of patient care Use critical thinking abilities in the evaluation, assessment, and care of patients Be able to concise and timely document care of patients; must be a team player, have initiative, set priorities, and at times function in a very fast paced demanding environment. Must have ability to interpret, adapt/apply guideline as well as procedures and perform other duties as assigned. Duties will include travel to surrounding clinics

Minimum Knowledge, Skill, Experience Required:

Must possess a bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or Radiologic Science or graduate of a JCRT approved program for radiation therapy and be registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in radiation therapy.
