We're hiring experienced Radiation Therapists for a 13-week contract in Gilbert, offering a consistent daytime schedule and 40 hours per week. PM Department:
Outpatient Radiation Oncology Clinic Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed radiation treatments accurately and safely. Position patients correctly using appropriate immobilization and treatment techniques. Operate radiation therapy equipment according to treatment plans and safety protocols. Verify treatment parameters and patient information before each procedure. Monitor patients during treatment and promptly report changes or concerns. Maintain accurate treatment records and clinical documentation. Explain procedures and provide compassionate support to patients and families. Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, and oncology staff. Follow radiation-safety, infection-prevention, and quality-assurance standards. Participate in routine equipment checks and departmental safety procedures.
Requirements:
Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy. Active Arizona Radiation Therapist license. Recent clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist. Knowledge of radiation-oncology procedures and patient-safety standards. Ability to operate radiation therapy equipment accurately and confidently. Strong communication and patient-care skills. Ability to work the complete daytime schedule for the contract period. Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler. Must satisfy all facility credentialing and compliance requirements.
