Santa Cruz, CA Position Overview We're seeking a skilled and dependable Radiation Therapist to join our team in Santa Cruz, CA. The ideal candidate is committed to providing safe, precise, and compassionate patient care while working independently and exercising sound clinical judgment. The Radiation Therapist will perform routine and specialized radiation treatments in accordance with physician-developed treatment plans while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy. Responsibilities Deliver radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely according to physician prescriptions. Position and prepare patients for treatment while ensuring comfort and safety. Operate radiation therapy equipment according to department protocols. Monitor patients throughout treatment and report concerns to the care team. Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation. Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, physicists, and other healthcare professionals. Follow all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures. Perform specialized procedures as assigned and assist with orienting other department staff when needed. Requirements Current ARRT (T) certification. Current BLS certification. Active California state license. Strong knowledge of radiation safety standards and treatment protocols. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Experience Elekta MOSAIQ AlignRT Ideal Candidate Experienced and confident in delivering radiation therapy treatments.
