Responsibilities Job Summary:

Perform CT simulations for patients that will be starting radiation therapy. Follow a physician's order to complete the simulation as directed. Fabricate immobilization devices for patients that will be used during treatments. Assist physicians/staff during CT procedures. Ensure proper patient care during Simulation procedures. Coordinate with treatment machines/infusion to schedule patients to begin radiation treatments.

Patient Care/Procedures :

Effectively communicate to patient and family on the procedure and what to expect. Act as a liaison between physicians, physics, dosimetry, therapists, and nursing staff regarding CT simulations. Arrange transportation as needed for CT simulations for inpatients
