Key Qualifications:
Valid and current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT-certified) Active state licensure to practice in Georgia, or eligibility to obtain one Proficiency in using advanced radiation therapy equipment and safety protocols Recent clinical experience in radiation therapy, preferably as a traveler Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
Primary Responsibilities:
Accurately deliver prescribed radiation treatments while ensuring patient comfort and safety Operate and monitor specialized therapy equipment Collaborate with physicians, physicists, and oncology nurses to tailor treatment plans Educate patients and their families about procedures and potential side effects Maintain precise treatment documentation, following all compliance guidelines Uphold the highest standards of patient care in a fast-paced, supportive environment
