Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Play a crucial role in patient care by delivering precise radiation therapy as part of a dedicated clinical team. Schedule:
Monday through Friday, daytime shifts (5 x 8-hour days) 40 hours per week
Assignment Details:
13-week assignment Manage a daily caseload of 22-24 patients
Qualifications & Skills:
Certified or licensed Radiation Therapist Proficient in operating Varian Truebeam and GE Discovery systems Previous experience in a fast-paced radiation therapy setting highly preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients Attention to detail and ability to adhere to prescribed treatment protocols Ability to collaborate with clinical staff to ensure high-quality care
Key Responsibilities:
Administer precise radiation treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist Prepare and position patients for daily treatment using advanced equipment Monitor patient reactions during therapy, reporting any side effects or adverse events to the care team Maintain patient records and treatment documentation with accuracy and confidentiality Ensure all safety standards and protocols are rigorously followed in the treatment environment This contract position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on patient health and well-being while working with leading-edge technology and a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
