Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Deliver advanced patient care as a skilled professional utilizing your expertise in radiation therapy on a dynamic healthcare team. This contract role focuses on providing quality treatment and support for individuals undergoing radiation therapy over a 13-week assignment.
Schedule & Hours:
Monday through Friday, day shifts 5 x 8-hour shifts per week 40 hours weekly
Desired Skills & Experience:
Prior experience as a Radiation Therapist, with strong knowledge of current therapy practices Proficiency operating Varian Truebeam and GE Discovery technology Ability to manage a fast-paced caseload, treating 22-24 patients per day Excellent patient communication and compassionate care skills Recognized degree in Radiation Therapy and valid professional certification
Responsibilities:
Deliver precise, safe therapeutic doses of radiation as prescribed by physicians Accurately set up and operate Varian Truebeam and GE Discovery systems for treatment Assess patient needs, explain procedures, and provide ongoing support before, during, and after treatments Collaborate with the interdisciplinary oncology team to ensure optimal outcomes Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date treatment records and uphold all safety protocols Monitor and report any patient concerns or treatment reactions
