Schedule/Hours:
Monday to Friday, day shifts Five 8-hour shifts per week 40 hours per week
Key Qualifications:
Registered Radiation Therapist with current credentials Prior experience operating Varian Truebeam and GE Discovery systems Strong understanding of radiation therapy protocols and safety procedures Ability to manage a high daily patient volume (22-24 patients per day) Excellent communication and patient care skills Detail-oriented and able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver precise radiation treatments following physician-prescribed plans Set up and position patients, ensuring comfort and adherence to safety standards Operate Varian Truebeam and GE Discovery machines with accuracy and care Document treatment details and maintain accurate patient records Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Monitor patients for side effects and provide supportive care as needed Maintain equipment and adhere to rigorous quality assurance protocols This is a 13-week contract assignment ideal for skilled Radiation Therapists eager to make an immediate impact using advanced technology in a fast-paced department.
