1 Description American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with ARRT certification and 1+ year of experience for a hospital setting using Varian True Beam equipment. Details Hospital-based Radiation Therapy department Orientation scheduled every Monday Uses Varian True Beam equipment Uses Epic for electronic medical records Requirements Minimum of 1 year current Radiation Therapy experience required Active ARRT certification required Current BLS certification (AHA) required Active Iowa state license required if applicable Experience with Varian True Beam preferred, training available if needed Previous travel experience preferred Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility Additional Information Deliver radiation therapy treatments in a hospital setting Holiday coverage required, including 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving) Limited time-off requests permitted during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday periods One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration Prior employment with the facility within the past 12 months may affect eligibility Open to candidates with previous travel experience
