The position is a 13-week assignment, offering a professionally rewarding experience for dedicated radiation therapists.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, day shift Five 8-hour shifts per week 40 hours weekly
Key Qualifications:
Current certification and licensure as a Radiation Therapist Proven experience operating Varian Truebeam and GE Discovery systems Expertise in providing treatments to a high patient volume (22-24 patients daily) Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and teamwork Ability to maintain composure and accuracy in a fast-paced clinical environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments according to physician orders and established protocols Operate advanced linear accelerators and related imaging systems with proficiency Ensure proper patient positioning, comfort, and care before, during, and after procedures Accurately document treatments and maintain detailed patient records Communicate effectively with physicians, dosimetrists, and other healthcare professionals Uphold safety standards and infection control procedures
