Accurately prepare and position patients, selecting appropriate anatomic and technical parameters.
Deliver the prescribed patient treatment plan in collaboration with the physician and dosimetrist.
Maintain and adjust necessary equipment, including the linear accelerator.
Maintain detailed records of all therapy sessions and ensure compliance with all regulatory agency standards.
Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents sent to PACS. What minimum requirements you'll need Licensure / Certification /
Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Radiation Therapist credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Radiation Therapist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. What additional preferences we're seeking
