Location:
Olympia Fields, IL 60461 Responsibilities Leads or coordinates shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or staff. Supervises staff in the absence of manager/director. Promotes teamwork and good customer service. Assists in annual evaluations and staff discipline. Administers therapeutic radiation as ordered to facilitate accurate treatment delivery and accordance with state and federal regulations. The Lead Radiation Therapist works closely with the Radiation Oncologist and Certified Medical Physicist in planning the course of radiation therapy by performing radiation dose distribution, position and dosage calculations and constructing treatment devices. This individual provides clear communication within the department and assists in the maintenance of radiation and programming equipment. Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1.
High School Diploma or equivalent. 2. ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required. 3. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $35.92 to $52.02. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
