1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a Cardiology unit requiring at least one year of cardiovascular or critical care experience and an active IL RN license. Details Cardiology department, Cardiac Cath Lab unit Adult and geriatric patient population undergoing cardiovascular procedures Day shift schedule, 08:00-16:30 Call rotation required, approximately every 2nd-3rd weekend and 1-3 shifts per week Requirements Active IL Registered Nurse (RN) license required BSN preferred Current BLS (AHA) certification required Current ACLS certification required upon hire and must be maintained Minimum one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab performing cardiac procedures or in a Critical Care setting required Additional Information Deliver comprehensive patient care throughout cardiovascular procedures, addressing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs Collaborate with physicians to provide continuous updates on patient status before, during, and after procedures Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, ensuring equipment is functioning and calibrated Manage case-specific supplies and inventory for efficient team workflow Monitor and interpret physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures Document patient condition thoroughly throughout Cardiovascular Lab stay Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel
