Full-Time Radiation Therapist Position We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapist to join our radiation oncology team in a full-time capacity in Chanute KS. The ideal candidate will be experienced in delivering a variety of radiation therapy treatments and comfortable working in a patient-focused clinical environment. Our department utilizes a Varian 21iX linear accelerator and

. The typical patient volume is approximately 8-12 patients per day , allowing for a balanced workflow while maintaining a strong focus on quality patient care while allowing time for commuting when necessary. Responsibilities Provide safe, accurate, and compassionate radiation therapy treatments. Perform patient setup and treatment delivery according to physician-prescribed treatment plans.
Demonstrate proficiency in:
Electron treatments 3D conformal radiation therapy (3D-CRT) Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) Operate and document treatments using
MOSAIQ EMR
. Operate and maintain familiarity with the Varian 21iX linear accelerator . Perform daily treatment verification and quality/safety checks in accordance with departmental protocols. Monitor patients throughout treatment and communicate appropriately with physicians and other members of the care team. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Follow all applicable radiation safety, regulatory, and departmental standards. Contribute to a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program. ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (RT(T)) or eligibility for certification. State licensure or eligibility for licensure as required. Demonstrated experience with electrons, 3D, IMRT, and SBRT . Experience with
MOSAIQ EMR
preferred/required. Experience operating a Varian linear accelerator , specifically the 21iX , preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the radiation oncology team. Compensation & Benefits $75 per hour Guaranteed 32 hours per week Monthly healthcare, 401(k) retirement plan and travel expense allowance of $1,200.
