1 Description American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with 1+ year of experience for a freestanding outpatient cancer treatment facility offering advanced radiosurgery technology. Details Freestanding outpatient cancer treatment facility providing cancer rehabilitation and radiation therapy services Utilizes CyberKnife radiosurgery system and linear accelerator equipment Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM 13-week contract assignment Requirements Current BLS certification from AHA Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start of assignment, if applicable Ability to accurately position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters Skilled in maintaining and adjusting radiation therapy equipment Additional Information Administer prescribed radiation therapy doses to specific areas of the patient's body Collaborate with physicians and dosimetrists to deliver treatment plans Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Submit high-quality images and documentation to PACS with correct lead markers and patient data Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department including procedure rooms and storage areas Open to first-time travelers with appropriate experience Local candidates accepted, subject to a radius rule that may affect pay rate
