Qualifications:

Active Massachusetts Radiation Therapist license (required at time of submission) Minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a Radiation Therapist Certification in BLS and ARRT (T) required Previous experience with True Beam - Linear Accelerator strongly preferred Professional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver safe and effective radiation therapy treatments, ensuring accurate setup and patient positioning Operate and maintain linear accelerators (with focus on True Beam units) Monitor patient responses and document treatment outcomes following established protocols Communicate effectively with physicians, dosimetrists, and nursing staff Float as needed between multiple sites, with primary responsibilities at the University campus and potential coverage at Fitchburg, Memorial, and Marlborough locations Adhere to safety standards, infection control guidelines, and departmental policies Dress in either scrubs or business casual attire with a lab coat as appropriate for clinical areas This role offers a supportive work environment and the chance to further develop your technical skills on advanced radiation therapy equipment.
