About Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital has proudly served residents across Southeast Michigan since 1953. With 632 beds, Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is a major teaching and research hospital and home to five residency programs and a cardiology fellowship in partnership with Wayne State University School of Medicine. Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is verified as a Level II trauma center and accredited by the Joint Commission as a primary stroke center. The hospital is also known for clinical excellence and innovation in the fields of orthopedics, neurosciences, women's health, heart and vascular and cancer care.

Scope of Work:

Under general supervision and in accordance with department policy and procedure, this position is responsible for simulating patients for radiation treatment planning and providing radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.

STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS

• At minimum, requires a level of knowledge normally acquired through the completion of an associate or bachelor's degree.
• Position contingent upon successful completion of a certification in radiation therapy within 90 days of hire.
• Requires demonstrated knowledge of radiation therapy procedures, treatment plans and delivery, radiation oncology, and radiation protection.
• Must be board-eligible with board certification within 90 days of program graduation or 90 days of hire.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) for Radiation Therapy.
• BLS CPR certification required.
