Job Summary:

Would be working on True Beams and would be working with 1 or 2 other individuals on shift.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Reviews patient prescriptions to ascertain type of treatment required, location of sffected areas, history of previous radiation treatment, etc. Safely positions patients utilizing immobilization devices. Utilizes appropriate treatment accessories as prescribed by the physician. Operates treatment machine (linear accelerator, HDR) precisely. Administers ionizing radiation as prescribed per physician. Verifies radiation prescription prior to treatment and confirms total radiation dose following treatment in patient charts. Documents treatment in inpatient charts. Localizes patient markings daily. Perform other job duties as needed or assigned by the client.

Experience:

Two years of Radiation Therapist experience.

Job Requirements:

A.R.R.T. Radiation Therapy Technology Certification or registry eligible. Current BLS certification Who We Are?
