Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Radiation therapists play an essential role in patient care, delivering targeted treatment and supporting individuals undergoing therapy. This contract opportunity requires a detail-oriented professional skilled in radiation therapy techniques and patient interaction, offering a 13-week assignment with a consistent Monday-Friday daytime schedule.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Five days per week No on-call hours No weekend shifts
Qualifications:
Current ARRT (T) certification required Current BLS certification required Minimum of 2 years of experience as a radiation therapist Proficiency with Varian and Aria preferred Experience working with True Beam systems strongly desired Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately deliver prescribed radiation treatments to patients using advanced equipment Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and fellow therapists to ensure precise and safe care Monitor and assess patient responses to treatments, reporting any concerns promptly Maintain up-to-date and accurate treatment records in Aria EMR Ensure the safety, comfort, and education of patients before, during, and after therapy Assist with equipment checks and quality assurance protocols as needed Enjoy the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated and supportive team utilizing state-of-the-art technology in a dynamic clinical environment.
