This contract opportunity in Hendersonville, NC, features a dynamic clinical environment equipped with four cutting-edge machines: two Linear Accelerators (Elekta Versa HD), one CT Simulator (GE Lightspeed), and one CyberKnife (Accuray M6). You will collaborate with a dedicated team of nine radiation therapists, ensuring precise, compassionate care for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer accurate radiation treatments utilizing Elekta Versa HD linear accelerators, GE Lightspeed CT simulator, and CyberKnife systems Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Maintain patient safety through meticulous operation of radiation equipment Document treatments and patient progress in Mosaiq electronic medical records system Adapt to patient volume fluctuations, with potential for extended hours occasionally past 6pm

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Certified Radiation Therapist with proven experience in radiation therapy procedures Proficiency with Elekta Versa HD, GE Lightspeed CT Simulator, and CyberKnife technologies preferred Experience using Mosaiq or similar EMR systems Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach Ability to work Day Shift (8.5 hours between 7am - 5:30pm); Night Shift coverage is rare but may occasionally be required

Schedule & Hours:

36 hours guaranteed weekly, with scheduling designed for 40 hours per week to maintain coverage and workflow continuity
