Key Qualifications:

Valid certification and/or licensure in Radiation Therapy Prior experience as a Radiation Therapist Proficiency with Elekta systems highly preferred Ability to maintain accurate, thorough patient and procedural records Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially with physicians and allied health professionals

Responsibilities:

Deliver radiation therapy according to physician's instructions and patient-specific treatment plans Input patient data, operate and calibrate equipment, and regulate dosages to ensure precise treatments Support physicians, oncologists, and clinical physicists in the technical preparation of treatment plans based on patient anatomy and needs Fabricate patient immobilization devices when needed Perform both routine and advanced treatments, including total body irradiation, stereotactic radiosurgery, and brachytherapy, following established protocols Maintain compliance with safety, quality assurance, and regulatory standards throughout all procedures Ensure treatment spaces and equipment are properly prepared and maintained before each session Provide clinical guidance and evaluation for student radiation therapists as required
