Desired Experience:
Valid ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy 1+ years of experience as a Radiation Therapist, including IGRT and SBRT Proficiency with
MOSAIQ, CT
simulation, and treatment planning systems Strong understanding of ALARA principles and radiation safety Experience training or mentoring colleagues (preferred but not required) Exceptional communication and patient care skills
Core Responsibilities:
Execute precise delivery of scheduled radiation therapy, operating treatment units with attention to patient safety and quality Maintain continuous visual and auditory communication with patients during procedures Perform daily and monthly linac and CT QA, as well as
IGRT/SBRT
treatments and portal imaging Conduct CT/simulations per department protocols, including constructing immobilization devices and using IV contrast and respiratory gating as needed Responsible for lead CT therapist duties, including training new team members in advanced simulation and QA methods Ensure meticulous record keeping in MOSAIQ for all aspects of daily treatment, scheduling, verification, and documentation Attend weekly chart rounds and contribute to interdisciplinary care discussions Uphold all department safety procedures and emergency protocols, reporting equipment malfunctions promptly
