Key Responsibilities:
Administer radiation therapy treatments according to established protocols and physician orders Operate and maintain advanced radiation therapy equipment Accurately document treatments, monitor patient reactions, and communicate progress to the care team Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and dosimetrists to support individual patient care plans Educate patients and families regarding treatment procedures, side effects, and post-therapy care Follow strict safety standards to protect patients, families, and staff
Qualifications & Experience:
Certification and active registration as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT or equivalent) Valid state licensure to practice radiation therapy Demonstrated competence with current radiation therapy technology Previous experience working as a Radiation Therapist in a clinical or hospital setting Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety This contract role offers a chance to work with a collaborative team and make a real impact on the lives of cancer patients.
