Category Radiation Therapy - Radiation Therapist Job Type Contract Looking for an experienced Radiation Therapist skilled in delivering exceptional patient care? A healthcare facility is seeking an energetic, adaptable professional to join their Radiation Therapy department for a contract assignment. This role involves providing FMLA coverage from August 24th through November 15th, working with a dedicated team to ensure high-quality treatments and support for oncology patients.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 08:00 am - 04:30 pm No on-call responsibilities
Qualifications:
Current certification and registration as a Radiation Therapist Expertise in Varian True Beam, Aria, and AlignRT systems Prior experience treating approximately 20 patients daily in a busy clinical setting Ability to wear any color scrubs Positive, energetic attitude with strong communication skills and team orientation
Key Responsibilities:
Administer precise radiation treatments according to physician orders and treatment plans Accurately position patients and operate radiation equipment with a focus on safety and comfort Monitor patient conditions, report adverse reactions, and maintain thorough documentation Collaborate effectively with physicians, dosimetrists, and other care team members for seamless patient care Assist with equipment checks and uphold rigorous quality assurance standards
