Category Radiation Therapy - Radiation Therapist Job Type Contract Step into a vital role delivering compassionate care as a Radiation Therapist, supporting patients and the team during FMLA coverage from 8/24 to 11/15. This contract opportunity offers a Monday to Friday schedule, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no call required—ensuring you can focus on what you do best in a consistent work environment.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification in Radiation Therapy Demonstrated experience as a Radiation Therapist Proficiency with Varian True Beam linear accelerator, Aria oncology information system, and AlignRT surface guidance preferred Ability to manage a daily caseload of approximately 20 patients Commitment to providing safe, high-quality, and compassionate patient care Strong interpersonal skills, with a positive, energetic attitude and ability to assimilate quickly into a close-knit team Professionalism in following dress code (any color scrubs permitted)
Core Responsibilities:
Administer accurate and timely radiation treatments in accordance with physician directives and treatment plans Operate advanced radiation therapy equipment safely and efficiently Clearly communicate with patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns to foster a supportive environment Accurately document patient treatments and maintain up-to-date records in Aria Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, physicists, and dosimetrists to ensure optimal care and patient safety Observe and address patient reactions to treatment, escalating concerns appropriately
