D Pay Rate:
$2554.00 - $2631.00 Radiation Therapist needed asap 5 8 hour shifts, Days Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm and 9am-5:30pm. Under general supervision, the Radiation Therapist performs radiotherapy procedures as prescribed by a physician according to established standards and practices. Provides patient care, treatment, and services within the scope of their license, certification, registration, and/or assessed competencies. Practice will be in accordance with laws and regulations and will adhere to established policies, procedures and practice guidelines. All travelers must have a permanent address of 50 miles or more to qualify as a traveler.
Job Qualifications Education:
A minimum of associate's degree in radiography with a certification in radiation therapy is required. Bachelor's degree in radiation therapy is preferred. Graduate of a JRCERT approved school registered through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.
Licensures/Certifications:
State of Ohio licensed radiation therapist; ARRT license; CPR certified.
Experience:
A minimum of 1-2 years of radiation therapy experience is preferred.
Job-related Skills:
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; ability to problem-solve and facilitate resolution to issues; demonstrates ability to handle multiple priorities; ability to make independent decisions.
