Key Responsibilities:
Deliver safe, effective radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician orders and treatment plans. Accurately operate, calibrate, and maintain radiation therapy equipment. Collaborate closely with oncologists, dosimetrists, physicists, and nurses to ensure optimal treatment and patient comfort. Document and update patient treatment records and observations. Maintain strict adherence to all safety standards, protocols, and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT-T) required. Valid state license (or ability to obtain prior to assignment). Previous experience in a clinical radiation therapy role strongly preferred. Strong communication and patient care skills. Adaptable and collaborative in dynamic healthcare environments.
