Job Description

POSITION INFORMATION

Position summary: The Radiation Therapist is responsible for providing quality and compassionate customer care, performing all the daily monitoring and accurate delivery of therapeutic radiation as prescribed by a radiation oncologist. This position requires daily recordkeeping of patient treatments, which includes charting, billing, filing, and labeling. The Radiation Therapist must demonstrate the ability to observe patients' status and identify each patients' requirements relative to their specific chronological age, developmental age and/or psychosocial maturity.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technology and current licensure by the State of Ohio. Required length and type of experience: Previous experience in Radiation Therapy preferred. Required licensure, certification or registry: Current licensure by the State of Ohio.
