Job Description
You are applying for a position through Medix, a staffing agency. The actual posting represents a position at one of our clients. Job Summary Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiation Therapist to join their experienced and outgoing team. This position involves operating various machines on a rotational basis, ensuring patients receive the best care possible in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Operate and manage radiation therapy machines, including Trilogy, Halcion, and Trubeam. Participate in machine rotations and receive training for unfamiliar equipment as needed. Perform duties as a Runner, Rider, or Driver according to daily assignments. Ensure accurate scheduling and chart checks for patients. Qualifications OBMI License (Open to New Grads) BLS Certification ARRT Licensing Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Experience operating Aria and Varian based equipment (preferred) Skills Technical proficiency with radiation therapy equipment. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Benefits Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
