)- General Summary
- Provides radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by physician according to Wellspan Oncology Servile Line established standards and practices. Performs CT-simulation procedures and/or other treatments/procedures requiring specialized skills/training at an advanced skill level.
- Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- + Delivers a prescribed and planned course of radiation therapy to patients; obtains patient history, answers patient questions, and explains procedure.
Common Expectations:
- + Demonstrates a commitment to patient, visitor and staff by: complying with all applicable safety regulations; learning the impact of medical errors and methodology that will lead to reduction of errors; reporting actual and potential errors, as well as hazardous conditions; identifying opportunities to standardize processes and "error proof" systems that will lead to increased safety; and participating in safety education programs and root cause analyses as required.

Minimum Education:
- + Associates Degree Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology Program. Required or + Associates Degree Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program. Required
Work Experience:
- + 3 years Relevant experience. Required
Licenses:
- + Registered Technologist-Radiation Therapy
- ARRT within 180 days Required and + Basic Life Support within 180 days Required
Courses and Training:
- + Appropriate training in radiation therapy. Upon Hire Required and + Appropriate specialized training. Upon Hire Required
