GENERAL OVERVIEW

Treats patients, mentors, supervises work performed by therapy staff and contributes to the management of daily operations in Radiation Oncology.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinates daily staffing coverage, rotations and time usage in the treatment area. (10%) Reviews and maintains electronic medical records for treatment delivery, charge entry and quality assurance. (20%) Troubleshoots problems related to treatment equipment, patient schedules, and staffing. (15%) Performs patient simulations, delivers a prescribed radiation treatment, and assesses/educates patients according to specific department guidelines. (40%) Performs other duties as assigned or required which may include but not limited to mentoring employees/students and participating in hospital initiatives. (15%)

Minimum Radiation Therapy Certification and Registration 3 years' experience as a
