Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Take on a vital role delivering excellence in radiation therapy with an impactful healthcare team. This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled Radiation Therapist ready to put their expertise to work using cutting-edge Varian technology. You'll rotate between facilities within the Fort Worth area, operating both the Varian iX clinac and Varian TrueBeam platforms. Familiarity with Aria/Eclipse is essential, and any background with VisionRT products would be an added plus.
Key Qualifications:
Certification and current licensure as a Radiation Therapist Demonstrated experience with Varian iX clinac and/or Varian TrueBeam Proficiency working with Aria/Eclipse record systems Ability to adapt to different clinical settings and work efficiently across multiple locations Great communication and patient interaction skills VisionRT experience welcomed, but not required
Schedule/Hours:
Contract assignment with float shifts between designated locations
Primary Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments utilizing Varian equipment Verify patient identity, discuss procedures, and monitor patient comfort and safety throughout each session Operate and maintain radiation therapy machines, ensuring optimal performance and precise dosages Maintain accurate documentation within the Aria/Eclipse environment Collaborate effectively with physicians, dosimetrists, and the multidisciplinary care team Support a high standard of compassionate patient-centered care
